WhoseDev is a product of AnotiAI, creator of a multi-model privacy-first AI system. We build developer tools and productivity platforms that respect user data. Contact:[email protected].

2. What Information We Collect

a. Account Information

• Email (required), username, team/workspace name.
• Authentication credentials (e.g., OAuth token or password hash).
• OAuth tokens are encrypted and never accessible to AI providers or plugins.

b. Usage Data

• Local device logs (for debugging).
• Code Editor preferences (theme, font size, language).
• Project metadata (e.g., file types, framework tags) not actual content unless sync is enabled.

c. Optional AI Interaction History

• Stored only if you opt in to history sync or workspace logs.
• Otherwise processed in-memory and discarded after use.

d. Payment Information

Managed by trusted third-party processors (e.g., Stripe). We don't store full card details.

e. Device & Technical Info

• Device ID, OS, browser version (for compatibility).
• IP address (anonymized before reaching LLMs or analytics).

3. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver and secure the WhoseDev experience (auth, offline protection).
• To store local Code Editor settings on your device or encrypted storage you choose.
• To enable AI assistance via AnotiAI using real-time masked context only no raw code or prompts stored unless you enable it.
• To process billing/subscriptions (Stripe or similar providers).
• To send critical system updates (no spam, no tracking).
• We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We do not store your code, prompts, or workspace context unless you explicitly consent. You control what's shared, stored, or deleted.

4. Data Ownership and Control

• You own your code, prompts, and outputs.
• Export or delete your workspace data anytime.
• Disable AI memory/history at any time related data is erased (within stated windows).
• Shared workspaces follow team permissions and visibility.
• Data routed through AnotiAI's fusion engine is anonymized/masked and never used for training without opt-in.
• AnotiAI is a data controller for personal data in your account; in managed team workspaces, we may act as a processor under the organization.
• Team admins may access logs/usage metadata per role; avoid uploading sensitive personal data to team environments unless permitted.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We minimize third-party sharing. Where necessary, we share only masked prompts (no raw code, secrets, or account-identifying metadata) with LLM providers, and only as required to deliver features. Payments and auth use trusted processors/providers. Optional plugins/analytics require explicit consent. We do not voluntarily disclose user data to governments; valid legal requests are required and we notify users unless legally prohibited.

6. Data Retention

• Local workspace data lives on your device.
• Cloud-synced data retained until you delete it or close your account.
• AI prompt logs/history are not saved unless you opt in.
• Account deletion: erase from active systems within ~30 days; backups ~60 days.
• Minimal hashed logs for integrity/abuse prevention up to ~30 days.
• Enterprise: auditable usage metadata logs no prompt contents.

7. Security Measures

• HTTPS, encrypted storage, zero-trust access.
• Prompt masking/PII redaction before LLM calls.
• Role-based access; audits, bug bounty, vuln monitoring.
• Proxying and privacy verification before any LLM provider.
• Offline/enterprise modes can support zero-knowledge storage.
• In case of a personal-data breach, we'll notify you and regulators within required timelines.

You're responsible for securing your devices and third-party tools you connect to WhoseDev.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, withdraw consent, and request portability. Submit requests to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. For cross-border transfers, we use SCCs or similar safeguards.

9. AI Memory and Personalization

Optional personalization (e.g., remembering preferences or history) is off by default, does not store raw code unless sync is enabled, and can be cleared anytime. AI completions may contain inaccuracies¡ªreview before use in production.

10. Plugins and Extensions

Plugins/extensions operate sandboxed and cannot access your workspace unless you grant permission. Third-party developers must follow our Developer Privacy Policy. Review third-party plugin permissions and policies before enabling.

11. Cookies and Tracking

No third-party tracking/ads. We use only local/session storage for essentials (e.g., login persistence, theme, offline work).

12. Children's Privacy

WhoseDev is not intended for users under 13. If we learn we've collected data from a child, we'll promptly delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our platform or laws evolve. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notices. Continued use of WhoseDev means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing Law

Residents of the EU, Canada, or jurisdictions with mandated local enforcement retain all rights to pursue remedies with their local Data Protection Authority (DPA).

Offline & Connectivity Notes

• Core Editor usage works fully offline (open projects, code, save, preview). AI features need internet unless using local models you install.
• Our AI layer uses real-time masking and local unmasking to protect PII and secrets. You may use your own LLM API key.
